Friday - 7 degrees 8.6 Earthquake about 3:30 a.m., bed surfing
What Happened This is terrible down here and Mainly Because the damage "has-been so wide-spread. There Have Been Confirmed 700 dead and 1000 missing after the Tsunami. People are looting and There Are not enough police and I believe We Are on the verge of the military Being Called in to help handle the situation (I Do not Know Why They Have not yet). People are stealing Everything in The Most Affected areas and it is a damn shame to see the Brought to this country with only a FEW short minutes ... I really am not sureWhat is Going to Happen with the two and a half months left here That I Have Because I know I will be Leaving with termoil still behind me, Leaving Will Be Difficult events as the International United States airport is in shambles ... Are Being Directed all flights to Mendoza in Argentina. I'll keep you posted ...
DSPU But I tell you now to do all the damage that was done ... the ridge is terrible. Really and truly I have a fear - think of all the bridges that did not fall, especially in a higher cross melipilla way to where ever we get out of my community and how those bridges could fail, as the land is still trembling and so many times, more than 70 in total and all over 5 or 6 of magnitude. Fact one is passed in the meantimet a major junction that we take from the house all the time and how they could, how the land is STILL getting aftershocks all of which have been more than 5 or 6 scale and more than 75 throughout the day. In fact, one just rocked my bed as I lay here in it contemplating sleeping outside tonight...
I used to have nightmares about tornados when I was a kid but haven't been so afraid and humbled by a natural disaster since then, that is apart from losing my house entirely in the flood of 2008 that drown out my city not too long ago. I had been talking with my brother about those who were living to the south of us and closer to the epicenter, those who recieved the worst bit: first thier houses crumbling and then being washed away by waves of over twelve meters traveling as fast asThe band and XC

MONDAY - pudahuel and helping JUMBO - EMILY KOCH TALCA; AARON ROOT
today I've had more success with Organizing events, events after the first and Most Promising Turned out To Be a hoax. Donating blood we'll be tomorrow and I am making the first priority for the group to make it to Talca with the help of Rotary International in order to help out emily koch and her host family. Still, There is no word about Aaron Root. The situation is is shambles and I fell lucky to Have Been in Santiago. Tomorrow We Are Donating blood, walk, unique and simon Are all going too alon with at least five of the group.ey, Marie, and Andrew possibly coming over tomorrow. HEY! I feel as though I've made a difference with the help of others. I asked all the students and got a few with rare blood to go donate - only stuff being accepted right now as the others they have enough of already. Today I with the help of my councelor and the chairman we got 20 people together, put on badges and rotary polos and went and asked for donations outside of a big supermarket here and got THREE carts full of non perishable food, diapers, and hygene products along with 170 in donations in cash. And through about a billion emails the day after the earthquake to the chairpeople, presidents, and councelors, they are takign down a bus full of all this stuff along with clothes that other groups were sent out to get AND a caravan
